About the event:
In August 2023, we held our Annual Business Luncheon, which centred around the theme, ‘Risk Management In Construction Contracts.
The event began with Andrew O’Connor, President of the Specialist Contractors Association, giving the welcoming address and outlining some of the important work the association has been involved with.
Thereafter, John Murray AM gave an informative presentation on the Murray Review, statutory trusts, and unfair contracts, as the keynote speaker.
The panel session then followed, featuring John Murray AM, Kent Johns from NECA Group, Richard Luscombe from Windsor Management Insurance Brokers, Michael Hutton from Lynch Meyer Lawyers, and Andrew O’Connor from O’Connors, which discussed the event’s theme from each panellist’s unique perspective and was very informative for all attendees.
